The most fun is joining the group near where you live, which allows you to become part of the community there. If you are unsure which of our local groups to join, you can always join Nordmark (Sweden).
Who are we?
The Principality of Nordmark is the Swedish part of The Society for Creative Anachronism Inc. and is supported in Sweden by the national association SKA Nordmark.
Nordmark is a religious and politically independent national association for those interested in the period before 1600 AD. We, as members, strive to capture the essence of the Middle Ages. This presupposes that we immerse ourselves in topics related to the Middle Ages. Instead of just reading about it, we also try to practice what we have learned by making things according to medieval examples, devoting ourselves to crafts and the fine arts, and learning to fight with swords and shields.
Where do you find SKA Nordmark?
Below you will find a list of where SKA Nordmark has groups and members. Please note that a few groups geographically outside of Nordmark (Sweden) are also included in the list. Administrative reasons made it easier for them to handle membership within SCA this way.

Suppose you cannot find a local group in your area. In that case, you can also be directly connected to Nordmark, which, although it has no business of its own, grants you the same rights as other members at events and when travelling outside Nordmark’s borders.
Nordmark is also open for all who live in Denmark or Norway and would like to join our SCA fun.
